"Beam Signing Event"

There will be a Beam Signing Event on November 14, 2009 at the new Library site on Lake Gregory Drive in Crestline from 10 am to 12 Noon.  The construction will not be at a point in the project to actually hoist the signed beam in its place hence the emphasis on the signing.

This will be a catered event (gourmet continental breakfast) meant for the Community of Crestline to come out and participate in the actual signing of the beam prior to it being lifted onto the building.

Regarding the event, there will be no speeches or  program just an invite to the community to come sign the beam, have a bite to eat and be a part of history in Crestline by having your signature part of the building!

Supervisor Biane is expected to make a cameo appearance toward the end of the event with perhaps a little surprise for the Friends and the Community of Crestline.

Rent the Latest Blockbuster Movies

The Crestline Library now rents the very latest blockbuster movies at only $1.50 a day!  There is a large selection of new and recently released DVD's to rent for your movie viewing.

100% of the proceeds of these rentals goes back into the Crestline LIbrary in support of new books, materials and programing.

The Library recently installed a new display rack to show the DVD's more prominently and for easy access.


Visit Crestline Friends Book Store

Come into the Friend's Book Store when visiting the Library.  Hard copy books are only $1.00 each unless otherwise marked.  All soft copy books are only $.50.  Hours are the same as the Library.

The Friends open and maintain a "gently used" Book Store.  You will find selections of fiction, non-fiction, cook books, biographies, self-help, reference, professional, young adult and children's books.

All proceeds from the Book Store go right back into the Library for purchasing new books, materials and special programs all for literacy.


Monthly Book Sales

Every month, on the 2nd Friday, the Friends of the Crestline Library host a book sale in the Library immediately after their Board meetings at 10 am.  Books can be purchased for a bag full for only $4.00 or if you are a Friend's Member only $3.00.

Come out on the 2nd Friday and fill a bag!
